Lee Association of Remarkable Citizens (LARC) has appointed Stephanie Wardein to its board of directors.
Wardein is the System Director of Community Affairs for Lee Health. She is responsible for all community relations activities, community health strategies, outreach, education and collaboration with other community organizations to develop working solutions to address local health-related needs. Wardein has been with Lee Health since 2012. In 2018, she was named one of Southwest Florida’s “40 under 40” by Gulfshore Business magazine. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts – Theology from Franciscan University and a master’s degree in Theological Studies from the Institute for Pastoral Theology at Madonna University. Wardein is an active leader and volunteer in a number of local organizations.
“Our board of directors help guide the work of LARC, to empower and support individuals with disabilities and their families to reach their full potential,” said Kevin Lewis, LARC Executive Director. “Stephanie’s passion for collaborating for impact and equitable health care for all makes her an invaluable addition to our board.”
